The Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Division of Health Care Finance (KDHE-DHCF) is amending the Kansas Medicaid State Plan to revise the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) language. This is in keeping with the Medicaid Coverage of Certain Medical Transportation under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 as outlined in CMCS Informational Bulletin dated July 12, 2021.
The proposed effective date for the state plan amendment (SPA) is October 1, 2021.
